Despite the rep I have at MPOW of being a "computer guy," I realized recently that when it comes to technology, I'm like Mr. Magoo--I wander around enthusiastically and myopically, and if anything works out, it's purely by luck. Enthusiasm and play. Yeah, that's definitely the way to go. When I created the ALA Chicago Wiki, I had never even edited a wiki, so I knew nothing about wiki syntax. I learned everything I know about wikis from playing with them and from looking at a cool page someone else made, hitting edit, and seeing what they did. Enthusiasm and play is what will get you and your colleagues there, and it sounds like you all definitely have enough enthusiasm to make it happen! :) HOT!
